Diemersdal Wine Estate
Diemersdal is a sixth-generation family-owned wine estate in Durbanville, Cape Town.
Sauvignon Blanc has been the focus for the past two decades as a result of current owner and sixth generation wine maker Thys Louw’s knowledge of belief in this white wine variety. This cultivar wine has proven to be the most successful among South African consumers and Thys’s aim is to prove that the country is capable of producing Sauvignon Blancs capable of competing with the best in the world.
Diemersdal is built on the foundations of legacy, provenance, wine quality through unique terroir and hospitality. Due to its central location and its commitment to wine tourism, thousands of visitors visit the estate each year for wine-tasting, to dine at the Diemersdal Eatery and to experience the unique surroundings of a charming traditional Cape wine farm.
