On Saturday 24 February we had the pleasure of attending Constantia Fresh 2018 at the absolutely gorgeous Buitenverwachting Wine Estate.
This marked the ninth consecutive year of the festival – undoubtedly a highlight on the calendar of Cape Town’s foodies and wine-lovers.
This year, over 200 wines were available for swirling, sipping and savouring, while gourmet canapés prepared by some of Constantia’s most talented chefs provided a delectable treat for the taste buds.
We were super proud to see our very own wine partner, Groot Constantia representing at the festival and, as always, enjoyed a glass (or two) of their beautiful Brut Rosé MCC. The bubbly paired perfectly with a melt-in-the-mouth Fererro Rocher and chocolate ice cream macaron by Foxcroft.
Despite a splattering of rain in the morning, the afternoon turned out to be warm, sunny and perfectly festive.
