On Sunday, 10 February we kicked off our Joburg Wine Club events for the year on a high note with a sold out second annual Summer Garden Party.
Held at Buitengeluk in Broadacres, it was an absolutely perfect day filled with sunshine, soul and on point style. We say this every time, but damn, Joburg – you guys know how to put a mean outfit together! The ladies, especially, all looked picture perfect in floral dresses, edgy jumpsuits and all sorts of statement accessories.
The ever-so-cool Wenawedwa provided a sexy soundtrack for the day with her dope beats and sultry tunes, setting hips a-swaying and feet a-shuffling as guests enjoyed limitless wine tasting and an array of delicious canapes.
We were proud to have De Grendel and Diemersdal present, sharing their delicious wines and fascinating stories. The day was made even more fun with the addition of Bosman Family Vineyards and their extra special Nero; Glen Carlou Vineyards; Bayede! and their taste of African Royalty; as well as Liz Ogumbu with her exciting new venture into vino. Copper Logistics also presented their boutique wineries – Meerhof, Deux Freres, Bushmanspad, Seven Springs and Leenders.
Thank to each and every guest for attending and bringing such positive vibes to the party! We’ve got a whole lot of surprises up our sleeves for the year, so keep your eyes peeled for event updates and invites.
