Community, friendship, beauty, quality and good taste. These are a few of the things that matter to us at the Joburg Wine Club. And exactly what we got to celebrate at the exclusive launch of Graham Beck’s Cuvee Clive 2014 last week.
Taking place at the Munro Boutique Hotel in Houghton Estate, the event was a truly superb celebration of all things good and beautiful in life.
The Graham Beck team went above and beyond to create a classy epicurean experience for guests centred around exquisite cuisine and excellent wine.
We were treated to a tasting of four different Cuvee Clive vintages, culminating in an overall appreciation of the brand new 2014 vintage.
Cuvée Clive is Graham Beck’s most distinguished and exclusive Cap Classique yet. It represents the very pinnacle of their specialized craft and is testimony to their reputation as a world class producer of Méthode Champenoise style wines.
This prestige cuvée embodies the Graham Beck pursuit of the perfect bubble and is a culmination of meticulous planning and an unwavering dedication to excellence.
Marthinus Ferreira, owner and head chef at DW Eleven 13 Restaurant, prepared a spectacular 5 course lunch complementing the wines.
The Cuvée Clive embodies the joyful celebration of that which matters. We couldn’t help but fall madly, deeply in love with it.
